Tiger Survivor Week 2
WELCOME TO TIGER SURVIVOR!!! A game show where two tribes go head to head in challenges each week. The losing tribe must put up 3 of their fellow teammates for eviction then you, the audience, will decide on who gets evicted every week. However, this week has brought a special Thanksgiving twist that could change everything. I'm your host Sean Martin, and this is "Tiger Survivor." Last week on Tiger survivor we saw the High School teachers suffer a crushing defeat as the Middle School teachers made an unbelievable comeback late in the game to steal the victory. With the High School tribe "taking the L" they were forced to put up 3 of their teammates. The three people chosen were Mrs. Kreinik, Coach Westfall, and Mrs. Baisier. With all the votes submitted the first person to go home on the first week of Tiger Survivor was…………. Mrs. Kreinik!!!! With the High School teachers now down a member, they need to get this win over the Middle School teachers to even out the playing field.
This Week's Competition is, Free Throw Shooting! Each tribe will select four teachers from their sides to take ten shots each from the free throw line. The winning team will be completely safe from eviction and will receive a reward in the form of a delicious Thanksgiving dinner and letters from their loved ones. The losing tribe will be forced to make great sacrifices if they can't deliver a win in this Thanksgiving match. Not only will the losing tribe have to evict one of their shooters, but an additional tribe member. In the event of a tie, someone from each sideline will be selected for an overtime shootout. The loser of the overtime shootout will be considered a shooter and not a sidelined player come eviction time. Those are the rules, let's get going. The teams are as follows:
Middle School:
- Coach Brodie: Puts it on target every time
- Mrs. E: Nice form, accuracy may be an issue
- Mrs. Willis: good athlete, tends to go on long streaks of good shots
- Coach Toepfer: the anchor shooter because he is a basketball coach
High School:
- Coach Lindsey: says he has never missed a shot in his life, google it!
- Dr. Schilling: Accurate shooter
- Dixie Crayton: selected because she is the team's "X-Factor"
- Coach Arvites: the anchor shooter because he is a basketball coach
The game starts, and the Middle School will go first (Round One):
Coach Brodie misses four of his first eight shots but saves his score by making his last two for a total of 6
Coach Lindsey has a dominant round missing only the first and his last two. (HS 7-6)
Round 2:
Mrs. E struggles but hits 7, 8, and 9 to get a total of 3 in.
Dr. Schilling starts strong making the first two but can't catch a break with any others (HS 9-9)
Round 3:
Mrs. Willis shows off her talents by putting the ball in the hoop successfully five times
Mrs. Dixie misses her first two shots but makes her next 6. She misses the ninth but gets the roll of a lifetime in the tenth to take the lead (HS 16-14)
Round 4:
Coach Toepfer shows off his skill by being the best shooter on the court and hits all but his fourth and fifth shot. This forces Coach Arvites to make eight + to win, 7 to tie, but if he only makes six his team will go home losers!
Coach Arvites makes the front four easily. With six shots left to go, he makes the fifth and misses the 6th leaving him four shots where he needs to make 3. The seventh drops easily and the 8th hits the front end of the rim but takes a great bounce off the backboard. Feeling the pressure on the ninth shot, Coach Arvites airballs. He's made seven and will either tie or win it for his team. He approaches the line, goes through his motions, and drains the shot with ease. High School Wins!!!!!! (HS 24-23).
With Coach Arvites coming up clutch for the High School tribe this week in the Free Throw Shooting competition, the teams should now be at an even number as both teams should be one man down. However, this week we said there would be a special Thanksgiving twist. As Mr. Martin announces to both teams that the thanksgiving twist will be double elimination, we see the Middle School in absolute shock as they realize what just happened. One person from the four shooters of the losing team will have to be voted out including one person from the losing team's bench. As the Middle School tribe converses of which shooter to eliminate, they quickly decide to unanimously take out Mrs. E who had performed the worst out of the four shooters. With Mrs. E locked in to be evicted the Middle School teachers must now decide who will go home from the bench. We see that the Middle School teachers talk very briefly and quickly decided to vote out Mr. Dumochel because he tried to make an alliance with everyone at once and it completely backfired. Now with two players from the Middle School team gone thanks to the Thanksgiving Day twist the tides have turned. Will the Middle School tribe be able to make up for the double eviction next week, or will the High School tribe prevail and yet again eliminate a member opposing team? Tune into the bulletin next week to find out. THIS…IS TIGER SURVIVOR!
