Red Dead Redemption II Video Game Review

This revolutionary game has changed the realm of video games forever. The game itself has set a new standard for video games, and on release weekend the game made 725 million dollars. The second you pick up the controller you are thrown into a world of the wild west. The attention to detail is phenomenal from the interactions with other characters to the majestic animals you find in the forest.

This game is not the first of this exquisite franchise. There have been three Red Dead games, but by far this game has fully optimized the genre of a wild west game. People have already suggested that it is the game of the year and is competing for the spot with many other competitors. Red Dead is up against Spiderman, and God of War. They are all great games, but overall it beats both titles but by a small margin. Because Comparing greatness isn’t right but Red Dead II differentiates itself from these titles simply because of how much work they put into it.

In-game, you can choose what you say to people or how you say it. The atmosphere that the game creates makes you truly believe you’re in the Wild West, and you develop these connections with characters you meet as you dig deeper into the story. That lead to missions you can complete or new ways you can have fun in-game. There are numerous things you can do like rob a train, meet random people and do missions with them, start bar fights, and antagonize people. Overall the game is great an awesome if you’re looking for something new and fun to play. I give the game a 10/10.
