Best-Dressed Teacher

Best Dressed Teacher

Fashion is essential in modern culture, and many can agree that it can be hard and expensive to maintain a nice-looking outfit. By going to a private Catholic school, or any private school, students do not have to worry about what they have to wear since most of the time it is a uniform. This allows for the best dressed teacher to be acknowledged in school. Since I have been at Holy Cross from 6th-12th grade, one teacher has stood out along the way, and that is coach Stuart Hayers. Every day he shows up to school with either a nice suit or something that is casual, while retaining his stylish look. Over the years of attending Holy Cross and even taking coach Stu’s class, I have never seen him underdressed. It is kind of crazy how he mixes and matches different things to wear each day. Of course, he only has so many pieces of clothing, but he succeeds in constantly blending his clothing into new looks. Many students have asked him about style questions along with what to wear for certain events. The school even allowed for him to have an activity period called styling with Stu. So, out of all the teachers he is awarded the title of best-dressed teacher. It is difficult to wear a suit, especially when teaching, but Coach Stu does just that. From this, many think his style comes from his British background, which could be true. But in the end, Holy Cross has many teachers that dress well, but coach Stu is one of the top contenders at the end of the day.
