Every five years, a mission assessment takes place in each of the schools sponsored by the Congregation of Holy Cross. The mission assessment focuses on the Catholic and Holy Cross identity of each school. The assessment identifies areas of best practice and areas of improvement in each of the four “Pillars” that hold up the educational mission of Holy Cross: Message, Community, Service and Prayer.
The Mission Assessment Team consisted of Holy Cross Brothers and administrators from Holy Cross schools across the country. Our team included:
Brother Donald Blauvelt C.S.C. – Assistant Provincial, Moreau Province
Brother James Branigan C.S.C. – Director of Sponsorship Office, Moreau Province
Brother Michael Winslow C.S.C. – Guidance Counselor and Director of Mission Integration, Holy Cross of San Antonio, San Antonio, Texas
Dr. Patricia Scott – Principal St. Edmond’s Academy, Wilmington, Delaware
Mr. Sal Chavez – Religious Studies Teacher and Mission Effectiveness Coordinator, St. Francis High School, Mountain View, California
