Steamboat Ride
Looking for a relaxing and enjoyable time? You should check out the Steamboat Natchez. Starting near the Riverwalk, the steamboat takes you up and down the busy Mississippi River. The Steamboat Natchez is a great way to get your money’s worth. On the steamboat, you can sit outside and hear the rushing waves while the tour guide speaks in the background and the shipping barges pass. You can also enjoy a relaxing and up-close view of the Mississippi River. If you’re hungry, you can purchase good home-cooked New Orleans cuisine. The steamboat is an amazing way to get away for a while and still be at home. Café Du Monde
A well-known New Orleans landmark is Café du Monde located on Decatur Street in the festive French Quarter. Café du Monde is easily one of the most recognizable tourist attractions and is a great representation of New Orleans. Many television shows that are shot in New Orleans will feature this remarkable restaurant. Tourists visit this hotspot for its amazing beignets and coffee. The menu consists of beignets, coffee, orange juice, white and chocolate milk, and hot chocolate. Even though the menu is very limited, Café du Monde is always booming with customers. Along with its exceptional food, the full experience of the French Quarter is on display. Audubon Zoo
Open to any age, Audubon Zoo provides a great time for families. The zoo was opened in 1914 and named after John James Audubon. There are all types of animals here in New Orleans at Audubon Zoo. From monkeys, to elephants, to the beautiful flamingos, you can see more than 2,000 animals! The zoo is the only one in New Orleans and is home to the rare white alligator with blue eyes. New Orleans is hot, so they sell Sno-balls and amazing food in the zoo’s cafeteria. Also, Audubon Zoo offers the Cool Zoo for younger kids. The cool zoo is a chance to beat the heat and have an enjoyable time. The zoo provides an enjoyable and relaxing day here. Also, Holy Cross School offers free admission.
