Holy Cross seniors Ben Oelkers, Ben Young and Christian Castro had a unique opportunity to visit Stennis Space Center last week as part of a project for their AP Research course.
At Stennis, they met with Holy Cross alumnus Ryan Roberts ’90 who gave them a tour of the facilities. There they learned more about the inner workings of NASA, and they even got to see the test of a repurposed RS-25 engine, the same engine used on the Space Shuttle. It was a great opportunity for them to learn more about NASA and the equipment used in the space program.
