NEW ORLEANS—Holy Cross School is pleased to announce the hiring of Guy LeCompte to serve as its head football coach for the 2018-2019 school year. In addition, LeCompte will serve as the school’s athletic director, overseeing all athletic programs and team sports.
LeCompte has 23 years of experience coaching high school football, having served as head football coach and athletic director of Mandeville High School since 2006. He is a two-time Coach of the Year, led a team to the Louisiana State Championship, and has had continued success in post-season play. He leaves Mandeville as its all-time winningest coach.
In his role as athletic director, LeCompte will oversee all Holy Cross athletic programs and team sports at all grade levels. He brings with him significant experience in athletic administration, fundraising and facility management and has a proven track record of excellence. LeCompte is a graduate of Louisiana State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration.
