In culmination of the fourth-grade novel “From the Mixed-Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler,” our students are completing a project to enhance their novel study. The story is about two children who run away to the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. Their adventure turns into a suspenseful mystery of searching for answers, clues, and ultimately uncovering the shocking truth.
Our students used their creative energy to design “movie” posters for the book and write trailer scripts to highlight the exciting storyline. They are using iMovie to record their trailer scripts and import photos that capture the main idea of the story. We will be taking a virtual field trip to the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York within the coming weeks. Be on the lookout for these amazing pieces throughout the Primary School.
