Dr. Katherine Schilling Selected for CDC Science Ambassador Fellowship

Dr. Katherine Schilling has been selected to participate in the Science Ambassador Fellowship at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta, Georgia, this summer.  The CDC Science Ambassador Fellowship provides training in curriculum design and teaching strategies that engage students in math and science using real-life epidemiology and public health science examples.

This year was the most competitive cycle to date, with 174 applications submitted from 34 states and 5 countries. Congratulations to Dr. Schilling on being one of 30 applicants offered a position in the 2018 Fellowship Class!
