The Academic Games 5th and 6th grade team for Holy Cross placed 3rd in the Presidents tournament.
Team members are Christian Smith, Luke Suggs, Tyler Tran, Carson Termine, and Braxton Couvillion.
In the individual results, Smith and Suggs both placed in the top 15 out of 104 total individuals, with Smith clinching a top 10 spot. Both Smith and Suggs are currently on track to qualify to represent Holy Cross and New Orleans at the National Tournament in Knoxville in April.
In middle division, all three HC students placed in the top 25 as individuals. The middle competitors are Wyatt Bigner, Cullen Alvarez, Navi Aguilar.
The team have one final math competition to train for which takes place in early March. The Bulletin wishes these bright young minds good luck as they prepare for future success.
