One of our Holy Cross Senior religion classes was blessed with the opportunity to serve a religious community. Father Joseph Moyer, C.S.C., Mr. Adrian Jackson, and 16 seniors helped the Sisters of Christian Charity pack the truck for their move from the Mount Carmel Academy campus to their mother house located outside of Chicago.
After the work was completed, our young men were honored with an opportunity to pray together, discuss faith formation, and learn about the history of the Carmelite congregation.
Sister Monica and the Sisters of Christian Charity, thank you for the opportunity to serve those who have dedicated their lives to God. We pray for safe travels to your mother house.
