Third and fourth graders visited the Apple Store in Lakeside Mall to participate in a hands-on workshop using iPads and the Sphero robot.
The students worked in collaborative teams along with Apple instructors to write programs for the robots to complete challenges. They tested their programs and discussed ways to adjust and fix any problems with their code. The boys learned that programs don’t always work the first time, and it is okay to make mistakes. Programming can be frustrating and fun at the same time!
