Wednesday, October 12, 2022, will be a half-day for all Holy Cross Students and the dismissal times will vary.
Students in grades pre-k through 9 will dismiss at 10:45am and the rotation for the day will be AB.
Sophomores, Juniors and select freshmen will be taking the PSAT on Wednesday, October 12.
Testing students should report to their testing room at the start of the day, 8:00 am. It is important that those taking the PSAT are on time as we cannot allow a student into the exam room once testing has begun.
Testing Students should bring the following items with them the day of testing:
- Student ID
- Two soft lead number 2 pencils w/ erasers
- Permittable calculator (please review the calculator policy at https://collegereadiness.collegeboard.org/psat-nmsqt-psat-10/taking-the-tests/test-day-checklist/approved-calculators)
- Snack/water
Please note that phones, smart watches, and fitness bands are prohibited and must be turned off and placed in the student’s school bag during testing. If a device goes off during testing the student may be dismissed.
Standard testing will last approximately 2 hours and 55 minutes; accommodation testing will last approximately 4 hours and 30 minutes. Students approved to test with accommodations will receive an email with their testing room location. Dismissal for standard PSAT testing will begin at approximately 11:20am. Accommodation testing will dismiss at approximately 12:30pm.
