High School Credit for Eighth Grade Courses

All eighth grade students receive high school credit for Computer Application, Speech Fundamentals, Earth Science, Algebra I Honors and English I Honors. These courses are listed on the student's permanent high school record, but they do not count in the 28 credits needed for high school graduation and are not used to determine GPA or class rank in high school.
